My first projector was also a Panasonic (model PT-AE700E, 1280x720), which I bought in 2004.
In 2008 I added my beautiful Sony "Pearl" VPL-VW50 (1920x1080), but I still kept the Panasonic around for a while for 720p games and DVDs:
