Yes we do know. From what I remember Sony have exceeded forecast every single year of PS4 (with sales usually very close to shipment after they had regular 1-3M in channel) while Nintendo had on 3DS and WiiU overestimated on the forecast. I don't remember seeing the Switch forecast to see how they have done on the first year, but on this one seems like they were a little to high (and a lot of people here have said it on the very occasion as well).
