Yes Nintendo has been pretty clear about not devaluing their IPs I dont think anyone should expect any major AAA port from Nintendo to not be priced accordingly.
Some might not agree with it, but it is what it is. Some time I wish they threw in an extra bone for returning customers but if I already have the game, I didnt really lose anything from the start.
I rarely buy stuff from Ubisoft, EA and other major publishers early because I know they will drop quickly, this is never the case with Nintendo.
