PS4 got outsold by 300K in December 2017 even though it had a $50 price cut. December 2018 has no price cut while Xbox One had price cuts all month long.
That's rational and reality supports XB1 > PS4 this month.
Online retailers do not represent holiday sales. Brick and mortar has the vast majority of sales in December.
Hell, look to Amazon. PS4 outsold XB1 pretty handily in December 2017. Actual gap certainly wasn't.
