You're cherry picking. The PS5 release/announcement is going to determine the pace in which it will take PS4 to reach 100m+/Wii numbers. PS5 announces, people are going to hold off on ps4 and console will not sell at the same rate due to that announcement. What if Sony announces, say at their fiscal year end meeting in April, that for 2019 they expect to ship 14 million PS4's, it'l reach 100+/Wii numbers based on their own internal sales for the PS4 for this year, not on consumer demand or the PS5 announcement.

Expecting and actually doing and two different things(See Nintendo/Switch goal). I still think PS5 announcement will hinder PS4 sales, but overall its inevitable to pass Wii numbers at this point.
