I have no problem with either you not liking GoW (Which won GOTY), SM and Detroit or thinking they aren't better than Odissey and BotW, but those were just 3 of the games on 2018. GoW even if fantastic and having a lot of gameplay and story besides graphics, SM being pretty fun and gameplay heavy, Detroit with a deep story are more than just graphics (although those are the most impressive features on then) are certainly not for everyone and surely sold less than Odissey and BotW plus review score is lower but neither are definite measures of what is better.

He didn't said that no publisher made 2 games on the same year better than Odissey and BotW nor something of the like. He put all games launched in the year on another platform.

If I asked you if you would ask you (as usually people like to go to these extremes), would you rather play these 2 games for the rest of your life or chose all the games on a console launched in any specific year of your choosing. Which year and platform would you chose?

A bit hyperbole and poor wording. I also don't agree with him that "no publisher made 2 games on the same year better than Odyssey and BotW nor something of the like" but will agree with something like this: "best launch console with 1st party game ever". "Would you rather play these 2 games for the rest of your life or chose all the games on a console launched in any specific year of your choosing. Which year and platform would you chose?" Of course i will choose launch games for a console, but i'm not interest in Odyssey, i would pick FE Warriors, Xenoblade 2, Mario X Rabbids and Arms over it. However, i don't think majority people outside Sony fans and graphic whores will agree with you that those 3 games are better than Odyssey and BOTW including neutral fans

I had RDR2 as well. So it was 3 Goty contenders plus one niche well regarded within the niche game.

And the evidence of most not agreeing that those 2 games were better than any full year of releases on any consoles is the OP itself that isn't a sony fan (besides yourself =p) and some people even agreed.
