I really believe that countries that are outside of the bigger markets come into play later on. Which means when a company does start to get momentum, (and Sony will gain), the smaller markets are already dominated. Therefore, they have a wider market gain globally, as well as a substantial gain in the main markets. I'm sure if MS, focused on the other conuntries as well and offered the same service, then that would make up for their lost in Japan. But their focus is Japan, which evitably at this stage is not going to get a vast improvement overall for MS. So do smaller markets matter? Yes, they do! All markets matter. This is a global market. So to rule out all markets is really being short sighted. At the end of the day, numbers are numbers, sales are sales no matter where they come from!

Do smaller markets matter, when only 2 countries speak portuguese, therefor getting less games translated to that language, and selling less games per console?
