Previous I have been running a Pioneer HTP-072 5.1 system, unfortunately since I upgraded my TV to a Samsung KS8000 I was unable to get 5.1 sound or HDR at the same time due to the Amp not allowing for HDR pass through.
I recently just brought myself the new Samsung HW-N950 7.1.4 Soundbar which I will pick up in about a weeks time (when I can be bothered paying it off) This bar offers Dolby Atmos and HDR/4k Pass through so I should gain surround sound with HDR all at the same time. I wont be able to set the 2 rear speakers up as my current room is too small, until my house is built in 2020.
The Bar is solely used for console gaming as my PC will remain with a headset and possibly new speakers when I move out.
What sound system are you using for gaming?
