On Christmas 2003, I got Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. I remember getting up at 3 or 4 in the morning to put it into the PS2. I never experienced R&C before, just from a preview and review on the Game Informer magazine. But I fell in love with it immediately.
Christmas 2009 was when I got Uncharted 2. I got the first one months before when a Babbage's store clerk suggested my brother and I to pick it up, also suggesting to keep a lookout on the second one. After seeing the reviews, I was super tempted to play it. It was a a truly game-changing experience for me back then, which is why it's on the top of my list even to this day.
