We have wave landings/jumps in Ultimate now it seems the game also has an option select when shielding so be careful when poke shields.
New Smash Ultimate option select! If you tilt your shield up and mash B, nothing will happen. If your opponent happens to hit your shield during this action, you will immediately up-b out of shield.
