You would be surprised by the reasons why customers buy their hardware, they are generally attracted by the new big thing advertisers everywhere, but also look at what they can play after and the indies or smaller games can also be part of the equation, especially when the library keeps growing.
Nintendo learned the lesson, having a pipeline of software is way more attractive than one or two games per year. Software sell hardware and indies should not be overlooked on why the Switch is selling even when there’s no big release to push the momentum.
