This observation is a simple one look at the physical (which are usually the bigger/mainstream titles of their respective gens) and that paints a picture. That applies to every single platform..... nintendo or otherwise.

I dont think your numbers are accurate to begin with.

Wii officially had just over 1200 retail games in North America & DS had about 1800.

I am talking about globally not just north america. And your wiki article will tell you that the switch has 1200 game because its cuntin physical and digital ames. VGC tracks only physical games.

I don't know how to say this to you bro but the NS has lass than 150 physical games. If it will make you feel better the 5 year old PS4 has around 1000 physical games.
