Have you ever looked into the lives of war-heroes? They sure don't seem to live happy lives, and from what I've seen, they appear to be tortured and torn inside from war.
To each is own, I suppose. I think I understand the idea you're trying to get across, but the reality of that idea is really different from what I've seen. =P
