Source on that? SNES mini certainly did, but I can't find info on NES mini.

Legs remain to be seen for PS mini. And selling that 1 million is 4 times as much revenue for NES mini.

SNES+NES Mini equaled 10m at sept 30 2018, with the majority coming from SNES mini. NES mini had severe supply issues, so if you got a source for that 1m+ in Japan alone, I would like to see.

Chris on Resetera said NES & SNES mini each did over 1 million in Japan.

He is also saying that word of mouth is terrible for PS Mini so legs arent looking good.
