Not true, you can easily find 2nd party games dropping in price quickly. Bayonetta 2 for an example dropped like a rock within a year after its release on WiiU.

The games that never drop in price are usually the high tier first party titles like Mario, Zelda, Pokemon - but even then if you check sites like brickseek, Slick Deals, CheapAssGamer and PSPrices - you can easily find games getting discounted quite often.

Mario Odyssey, Zelda BotW and MK8D were all around $35 to $40 not too long ago - not as steep in sales as other first party titles from competitors like Sony but its better than paying full price.

I wouldn't say its easy to find 2nd party games dropping quickly, at least in my experience.  The only time I noticed Bayonetta 2 dropped in price quickly was because they stopped including Bayonetta 1 in the first year or so.

But ya I was just teasing around, I know Nintendo does have sales and price cut but its rare (likely just on Black Friday or during a blood full moon) but they wont have like a steady price drop in their games like their competitors and other 3rd party games.
