Personally, I think 2018 would have been fine if Fire Emblem and Yoshi hadn't seen delays.  That E3 this year was deadly.  Mario Party - Fire Emblem - Yoshi = The first E3 from any company I can recall that had a worse lineup following their presentation than when it began.

That may be true with Microsoft delays but then again maybe not, Microsoft announces delays quite often before E3
