No my friend, it matters. Lost Legacy is the next entry in Uncharted series, Animal Crossing City Folk on Wii is another entry in AC series and etc.

I didn't even say I disagreed, lmao. City Folk and Lost Legacy are both mainline entries, those aren't even entries people consider to be "spin-offs" in fact. 

What does matter is that you agree that the most important games in each respective franchise sell consoles. Which is significantly different from saying that Happy Home Designer or Amiibo Festival (which by the way ARE spin-offs) decide the fate of the franchise.
