For me, we are talking about Mario Party-like games, not Mario Kart. Except Pokemon ofc, but I dont see them crushing everything again. Times changed.

Mario Party like sales? I dont see how you can compare Mario Party IP that usualy sell around 2-3 with IPs like Pokemon, Smash Bros and Animal Crossing that are all 10+m sellers IPs, and with fact how big/strong Nintendo games selling on Switch, they are all easily 10m+ sellers and very likely 15m+ sellers. Nintendo already reported that Pokemon sold just in first few days 3m, Smash Bros Ultimate will be even stronger, both games should be around 10m at end of December.
