The point still goes over your head. Yes Steam is bigger at the present, no one is debating it isn't, its still my preferred PC platform today so stop with the mega corp defence BS and talk sensible. Steams library is bigger with the exception of more utter trashy games and VR which adds fat to a pool of games, but I will agree and say all storefronts have there bad games but Steam has been criticized many times for there lack of quality control, this isn't coming from me, but I have seen it many times as I view there store front nearly every day. Don't believe me, go ask Jim Sterling, he has tons of videos on Steams quality control, ill link one for your convenience.

Win10 games not running well.. I mean Horizon 4 runs great on PC and I haven't heard anyone having any issues with that game. Gears I have only played on Xbox, I cannot tell you how it runs on PC, but I am sure it runs better on PC over Xbox regardless.

The point is Steam relies heavily on there current and old customers. I am done with TF2, LFD2 and Portal 2 etc, I want new games from Valve not some mediocre card game. I want a L4D3 etc. AAA Games I cannot play on anything else. Next gen is a new era and right now with the efforts others are putting into there digital stores and software like MS buying out dozens of studios makes there store front more attractive because you know, Games you cannot play anywhere else, and many gamers wouldn't care about the performances if the games are exclusives and unplayable on Steam. If MS go that route.

What's Steam going to offer me that other gaming stores wont? Mods? okay.. but I am not into mods, I just want good AAA games. When the competition starts fixing there apps and not only matching the deals on Steam with 3rd party support, but offering a truck load of 1st party games that Steam might not see the light of day on, that's where Valve needs to counter back with games. And right now, Valve brought 1 studio compared to MS's 6 in 2018.

As a huge Valve fan I hope they see this and start thinking about making games again rather than relying on 10 year old games and 3rd party AAA games that just about every other store front gets anyway.
