I've never built a PC in my life.  But so far, what I want built is based on this:

More than likely it would be cheaper building a PC from the ground up based on similar specs in the link.  But I do want to make sure I pick quality components.  It's a work in progress mainly based on price. I'm hoping to spend no more than $800 including a monitor.

At 630$, it would leave you 170$ for a new monitor. The 1050 ain't too powerful at gaming, but considering high-end gaming doesn't seem to be the priority right now it should do fine for now and could easily be upgraded later on.
