? I don't know where you get that. They said it was Nintendo's best Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday for a Console. Previously that was Wii which was 800k.

The 800K was for BF week, not Thu through Mon. There's a reason Nintendo used the PR wording they did, it allowed an easy victory over the supply constrained Wii. The Wii was flying off shelves in 2008, so I wouldn't be surprised if it sold half of that 800K leading up til BF. Especially when you consider that there were no deals for the Wii that year, with half the retail chains not even advertising it in their BF ads, and BF still meant Fri, not Thurs night. So, it sold very little Sat and Sun, and CM was hardly where it is now (the same goes for Amazon), meaning stores didn't reserve as much stock for it.

And the 8.2M+ LTD up until Cyber Monday supports just that. There was ~900K sold up until then for the whole of November, minus this last week, not just BF weekend.
