There was one year where Nintendo stated the Wii sold more than 3 million in December and the figure was actually 3.8 million.

 

Therefore the Switch could be way up but for some reason they are way behind on the numbers.

Dude that was over 10 years ago and the huge differences here is this is a official LTD numbers and the number they gave was 8.2 not 8 million.
