he said switch is up tremendously he way over hyped switch sales imo, saying stuff like the people that underestimated switch holidays RIP. 1 million with cyber money included unlike last year means its only up slightly up. i mean h'es been hyping switch sales all month like crazy that he actually convinced me a little.

Come on now, he's even perplexed at those results if true.

"Nintendo Switch hardware sales grew 115 percent compared to the same period in 2017."

That sounds like it's up tremendously to me and both periods include CM.

Dont forget "It became the best-selling Nintendo console in U.S. history for that five-day period, surpassing even Wii system sales", also we hole month have informations and indications how Switch is selling great, any yet you have people that think Switch will sell similar like last November.

As good as Nintendo research team maybe is, I also think they would not access to Sony's number. At least not that quickly. Given I do fully agree with the assertion that Sony won BF. I just don't think Nintendo PR this quickly in the week would have information about who won.

I was under the impression that their PR is derived from data from Adobe and/or NPD, not only their internal team.

Informations like "Nintendo Switch hardware sales grew 115 percent compared to the same period in 2017." and "It became the best-selling Nintendo console in U.S. history for that five-day period, surpassing even Wii system sales" cant be take from Adobe.

Also he is probably right, its very possible that Nintendo dont have insight in how much Sony sold and opposite.
