I didn't say anything about all other differences. Where are you getting this from?

I've looked up the definition in American dictionaries and encyclopedias, and unsurprisingly it's the same as the rest of the world. This is what you wrote, this is what you're failing to support without moving the goalposts to some weird definition you just made up in order to avoid admitting you were lying.
