Now it's cool that people thought that but it just highlights what an incredible achievement the ps4 has pulled off this year to be leading.

If we're only talking during the 20m vs 16m forecast period then how about this thread. - http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=236417, I'd say the opinion on who would win 2018 is pretty much half and half. Hell some even predicting here that PS4 would beat Switch in 2019.

So it wasn't a "few visionaries" that thought ps4 would win and certainly not "Nobody expect to be anywhere near Swich this year"

Many people anticipated a close race this year, and it will end close with PS4 taking the win.

My original comment you quoted said this year so you'd need to check the threads from the end of last year. 3 months and 6 months into this year many were starting to see sense.
