Very little ""detail"" that many tend to forget...PS4 being out since 2013, and still dominating...VS a new console which is even 2 consoles in one, Home + Portable ;) and we all know how much this is helping Switch. PS4 is a Beast. |
PS4 is a true beast, it is quite impressive to still hold fine so late and without pricecuts.
And even after all questioning it still manages to keep ahead aligned against PS2 (I don't think it will outsell it, but so far it been doing great).

Very little detail you seem to forget, there are 2 PS4 models on the market which help sales to be high, unlike the Switch and its unique model |
PS4Pro sells about 1/5 of total sales and very likely without it sales of PS4 wouldn't be much impacted as most would just purchase vanila (100USD difference and all... just look if X1X have dented PS4/Pro sales even being stronger than both).
