Speaking of math despite being more expensive then the other Pokémons it still didn't go #1. Cost of production was no doubt higher then the 3ds games so it's very debatable whether or not this is the most profitable.

I do however think it's a success just incase you get the impression I don't. 

Just stop,everything you wrote is this thread is wrong or dont make sense. Despite its first HD Pokemon game, this is not big project like previous main Pokemon games, has less content and reused assets and ideas from Pokemon Go, they probably done this game in a year. Also, huge number of people bought Poke Ball Plus that costs around $50, informations for Japan saying that almost half of Pokemon buyers bought bundle with Pokeball Plus for $100. So yeah, this will most like be easily most profitable Pokemon (definatly more profitable than 3DS Pokemon games).
