I genuinely believed MS would have been the last of the 3 to implement this feature mainly for the lack of a "legitimate" first party studio. I mean, I could see why Sony and Ninty would want the authorization of used game sales to end because it affects their business directly but MS isn't in that boat.
That's why to me at least there's question marks all over this. Not that we don't see it coming as gamers but WHICH company to do it first is almost rhetorical.
If it's true then it really makes me wonder who's in bed with who? Are MS and other officials holding private meetings? Or if it's true, is this solely a marketing strategy for we did it first bragging rights?

 

Edit: I just thought of the incentive looking at it from a devs point of view. It would be enticing for a dev company that's tired of used game sales, to cooperate with a platform with this feature.
