This is ridiculous. How is it arrogant if they even state they don't want to disappoint their fans, by not having enough new things to show? If anything that's humble and the opposite of arrogant. It would be arrogant if they boasted a huge show up for nothing. |
New and inventive plans that they do not want to share at e3. Existing relationships with every relevant 3rd party studio in the world. Yeah, they couldn't possibly have anything to show at the world's biggest gaming event. Considering how bad their "conference" was last year, spending 45 minutes showing new games would be better than what they tried this year.
They've dropped out of PGW, PSX, and now E3 2019. They very well can unveil things at their own event, but still feels like they are not pushing any boundary because PS4 has sold so well. Giving a weak answer about not having enough first party content to show is more insulting imo.
