The thing is that is really could have done a lot better if people knew about it. You bring up some good points though. I would say MySims was an established name though, because of the "Sim" name. Other Sim games haven't been very successful on consoles though, but I think that's because they were mediocre at best. MySims seems to be the revival of the game that some have been looking for. It was a slow and steady seller, and I expect Boom Blox to be similar, hitting a million eventually (probably around this holiday season). Boom Blox did have a lot of competition that month. I do expect the game to have legs, so it'll be interesting to see where the game ends up.

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out
