No Physical Media for Next Gen?

I always buy physical as digital has no collector's value however internet speeds across the world are still not up to the standard needed for fast downloads of ever increasing in size games. As long as that is the case there has to be physical media present.

You say that and look at PC games, when was the last time you went into a video game store and purchased a PC game where it was on disk and not a steam key... I used to shop in EB years ago and it was wall to wall Pc standalone... not been like that for 10 years. Internet speeds don't matter the much when it comes to pre-order downloads/download in advance, the problem for some users is download limits rather than speed.
