This thread = Blind fanboy.

The Xbox360 will outsell the PS3 2nd half of this year world wide.

May as well go against the grain eh?

Reasons?

1. Awesome games that cater to a different audience this year (JRPG/RPG) and not shooters. Different audience = different market to sell to = more sales.
2. They can make a price cut and still be profitiable.
3. They are in the next best position behind Nintendo to utilize motion controls. Because A, they have one foot firmly set in the mouse dominated PC world. B, They have launched 3 hardware SKUs so they can be flexible and modify their offerings to suit the market, C. They can afford it.
4. They look like they are going to update their console lineup @ E3 so they can raise the specs to compete better with the PS3 technically. Wifi/HDD size etc.
5. They haven't had a price cut recently in North America, yet they're still going strong so they have the chance to grab the Sub $299 market share before Sony gets there in North America.
6. Come Jasper RROD will be a distant memory.
7. They don't have to raise their sales by much to beat the PS3 week on week averages and if they win this years Holidays substantially the PS3 will never recover.

2. Source?
3. What does a mouse have to do with it? What does have multiple SKUs out have to do with it? If anything that would make it more difficult. And finally, are you saying Sony cannot afford it?
4. Raising the specs on a new 360 does nothing, developers still have to make it so the game can run on all of the Arcades out there.
5. You should already know by now that America alone isn't going to keep the 360 afloat.
7. You could also say PS3 wouldnt have to raise sales much to stay ahead of it.

2. Can't be bothered to look!

3.  Mouse = Air mouse = Wiimote - motion controls. They can tap PC developers to take advantage of the controls and pc developers can more easily port games that take advantage of said controls. There are a lot of game companies such as popcap and games like "the sims" that can rapidly expand the game library with a simple port. Sony hasn't got that luxury.

4. Im not talking about game specs - Increase HDD space to better leverage downloadable content and movie on demand functionality. Wifi with N spec so to encourage people to plug in their console and prevents those people who NEED wireless going with the competion needlessly. Perhaps Blu-Ray in the Elite SKU to go toe to toe with the PS3?

5.I know that but the difference isn't much so a switch around is very possible.

7.Ya - but I had to go against the grain. ^^
