I don't think that raises or lowers your selection at all

Nintendo choosing probably means they are going to go for characters that ppl want but are related to IPs they themselves want to push.

i actually think that lowers the 3rd party output.

But of course it will be fun to see who they actually do decide on.

Having anyone of these characters does benefit them atleast, as they all have some type of games on a Nintendo system. Plus I can't think of that many other first parties characters that seems appropriate
