Now you have to love this. Nov 1, Trump makes a statement that if rocks are thrown at the boarder he is willing to give the OK to use deadly force from the military. Now, I am hoping Trump generals has clued him on rules of engagement since this would be considered murder but who knows. The crazy part would be after Trump words, if a solider were to fire on the caravan, I wonder would it cause an international incident. The ironic part is that he got full support for his statement from the Nigerian Army after they fired on protesters. The Nigerian Army tweeted their response and Trump support in response to a US diplomat who called for piece between Nigerian army and the protesters. I guess its hard to ask for piece when your own president is making claims to do the same.
I know Mathis probably thinking, "Please Mr. President shut up you are making me look very bad".
Even so, this is probably another dog whistle since having the military do combat on US soil goes against the constitution and probably would make even the staunchest GOP member blink at such stupidity.
Even more interesting is another problem sending military troops to the boarder. It appears that Extremist militia groups acting as citizen patrols have been stealing military hardware from the Troops sent to the boarder. With Trump promising to send 15K more, I wonder how many more military equipment will find their way into these extremist hands before a single migrant reach the boarder.
