Gets better every year. Honestly it would be easier to name my down time from games, which was 2011 & 2012.

I have always loved games, but for me gaming has had two revolutions this decade. First was The Last of Us, then VR. I already thought I loved games when I was playing my mom's Atari in the early 90's. I graduated to Nintendo which felt like a natural progression, but then PlayStation turned games upside down for me. After PS1 it felt like PS2 and PS3 were natural progressions, until TLOU. I was, and still am blown away by that game. It completely re-wrote the book. For me it is still the gold standard for TV and Gamepad gaming.

Nothing has changed gaming for me more than VR. My best time in gaming has been since PSVR arrived. VR has opened the door to where I always dream gaming could go. While on the TV we have got incredible stuff like Super Mario Odyssey, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Detroit Spider-Man, and Forza Horizon 3 & 4. Then we have PS Now and Xbox Game Pass, with so many titles ranging across generations. For me this has been the best gaming has been so far.

Looking forward I only see things getting better, with more VR, including more AAA VR. While we also see an expansin of the ability to play our TV based games anywhere via new Mobile gaming devices and Cloud basd services. Gowing forward everything is just going to get better, with more games, more services, and more people to enjoy it with.

So, I have to say my peak gaming years are far far in the future, maybe around when I'm gaming with my Grandchildren before I pass on to the next experience.
