That is the problem. Even if you support a change to the constitution on this matter letting the President change it with an executive order opens the door for any president. If you believe it just stops at this one issue you have not paid attention to US politics. This is very dangerous grounds as it bypasses the rules we already have in place for such changes. Also the next president change you may not favor.
If Trump wants to make this change then he needs to abide by the laws we have in place. Trying to circumvent the process make it appear he is trying to be a dictator.
