It is because they lie for the express purpose of defaming their political opponents, and getting people to vote for "their side".  The simple fact that they HAVE political opponents tells you the entirety of the problem.  They do everything in their power to subvert democracy.  THAT'S why.

Lol, so you totally ignored the question on does Trump lie but you give this spiel about the media defaming their political opponents.  Ok, its good you did decide to not go down this line because I probably would have wasted a lot of time breaking apart every line you throw out and just continue to ask you to support if you believe the media does what you say, why would you give Trump a pass when he does the exact same thing.
