Alright, I'll admit I bought Zelda OoT and MM for both the N64 and the 3DS but just because I sold the N64 cartridges the other day. So technically, I bought them twice but own them once. Yes, these things happen, indeed. Your story, on the other hand, is even more ridiculous than OPs' ... To each their own, I guess.
