The main difference here is that Wii U support dried up after the 1st year while Switch support is increasing with no signs of slowing down.

It's never going to get anywhere near PS4 or even xbox support at this rate though. It's impossible because its not powerful enough to get the big games like battlefield V or RDR2 etc.
