I think it speaks a lot when you look at the amount of studios developing for the Switch as oppose to Wii U. Bethesda, From Software, Blizzard, Falcom, NIS, Capcom, 2K, Rockstar. We have Square massively supporting the system and bringing the firsts main Final Fantasy games to ever hit a home console of Nintendo since the Snes. We have games like Fortnite, Undertale and Rocket League that are well know to attract a lot of players. And a bunch of these old ports, okay that they are old games, but some are prestigious franchises that never hit a Nintendo console before.
6 months in the third party support on Wii U was dead and buried. At this point seeying the Switch not just still receiving support of many of those devs that left Wii U early but increasing that support means a lot.
