The WW2 games work best for me. I really enjoyed the very first Call of Duty quite a bit. Especially the Add-On United Offensive, that stuff was so friggin' good, it was nuts! Didn't like the second one too much. Third one sucked balls. Modern Warfare was kinda meh. After that I didn't play CoD for a long time, but I came back last year with WW2. The campaign was nothing special, but for the first time I got into CoD Multiplayer. I even played enough to get to Master Prestige and it was fun while it lasted.
I'm thinking about giving the new one a chance.
