EA has the Star Wars license, I would rather Obsidian make new IP under MS unless they decide to take on one of MS's dormant IP like Perfect Dark, ShadowRun or Kameo.

I do not know how EA's contract with Disney for that license is settled but it is possible to have a license used by multiple companies.

And yes new IP's and bringing back good oldies are fine too if it also gives them the freedom to be creative and give quality.
