I don't know about LG and HTC mid-end phones but the cheapest Sony phone is the Xperia L2 and it has USB-C, so has the Galaxy A3

Yeah, my XA1 Plus also came with a Type C connector. Used the charger sometimes to charge my Switch and the charger of my Switch to charge my phone
