A thread about Xenoblade 2, I'll bite. All this debate on whether or not the game is sexist... Honestly, I don't know what to think. Obviously female characters are more sexualized male ones, but it's hard to blame it when that's exactly that is aiming for. I do know that it's tasteless and very cheap, though, so I find more criticisms towards the character design very acceptable, barring a few exceptions.
You're also dealing with Schreier's commentary with a very short sight. What bothers him with that specific shot with Pyra is that is one of the many annoyances that the character design brings up. The context is fine and all you want, but her design ultimately makes the scene look very silly.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
