The burden of proof is on the accuser, not the defendant. Innocent until proven guilty. If she did get rape (I have doubts), I won't fault her on that, but I will fault her for not going to the authorities right away because now we don't have any concrete evidence or proof. Also, we are in denial if we pretend there isn't a lot of holes in her story.

Have you paid any attention to this whatsoever? She wasn't raped. In her mind, he attempted to rape her but what he accomplished was limited to groping and attempting to remove her clothes e.g. sexual assault.

Innocent until proven guilty is a legal concept. This is not a trial. There is no judge (besides Kavanaugh himself), there is no jury. This is you and me in a neighborhood with Kavanaugh as our neighbor and Dr. Ford as our neighbor and we're trying to decide if we want Kavanaugh to continue living with us.

There aren't any holes that are materially relevant to the assault. Does she know who did it? 100% Can she describe the events? Yes. Does she recall who was in the room at the time? Yes. Focusing on what she does not remember rather than what she does is really quite odd. The things she remembers are clear as day, the other items are irrelevant to her.
