For me, the issue isn't so much price point as preferance. If every console ever made was 30 bucks, they'd all be good deals, but I wouldn't go out and buy all of them.
Right now, the console that interests me most is the Wii, and I don't even have that yet. I will in a year probably, but not yet. I just got a DS a few months ago, so that meets my VG system demands for a while. Of course, if you were to rate my priority purchases. I'd pick up a Wii first, followed by a PS2, followed by a 360. That doesn't by any means make the PS3 a bad console, it just means it's not first in line. Now since I'm not going to be buying that many consoles, it means I won't be getting to that point in the line.
That lineup could change in the next few years if the PS3 software lineup ends up blowing everything else out of the water, but that seems unlikely
