I only use D-air to spike, to use that to approach is a bit suicidal because it lacks range, just roll dodging, or spot dodging it is easy enough seeing as how it comes out fairly slow (like most Ike's attacks) I could of Eruption, but if I missed I would be punished fairly easily, and judging from your post you have experience with Eruption so you could run away and punish -_-.... Btw, if anyone wants to play I can go on now..

I think you underestimate a few of Ike's moves. And yeah, I have experience fighting Eruption. My goal is usually to get out of the way. Eruption is one of those moves where the player with the best timing wins. You have to be quicker on the draw than I do (or just lucky) to catch me with it. Still, assuming you were quick enough to release it at the right time, I'd either be hit or pushed into grabbing the edge of the platform. Either way you'd be standing on the platform and could then use Ike's nasty attacks to remove me.
