I'm considering that actually. I generally run at 6.30pm but its getting dark and too many druggies smoking in the park which I am not fond of running near. I think 5.30am would be pretty good, but my body is usually aching when I wake up. Do you have any issues in getting the body to wake up... I guess you have more energy through the day? (I feel great after running). |
So, I have this weird thing where I go to bed at the same time and wake up the see time almost instantly for both, almost all the time. When I'm up, I'm up. 5:30 runs are not hot, hardly anyone is in your way, and the starlight and Moon are amazing to behold as you run. And I do feel amazing! I would workout after work, but my job is pretty stressful and I often don't have the motivation after work. Also it's hot out and I don't like running in the heat.
I walk a lot as a teacher, so I run Monday-Thursday morning then no workout Friday but I walk a lot then. Then I do a hike (with mywifew) or a 5k hard run on Saturday, followed by a total chill day on Sunday.
