Awesome to see Square return home so to speak.. I'm sure it helped that Octopath is probably printing money for them right now.
Was never much of a Final Fantasy guy - when it comes to JRPGs I was probably one of the few Westerners that preferred the DQ series, along with some Tales games, rather than FF, but I have been wanted to finally check out FF6 on the SNES when I get enough time to get around to it.
This certainly seems like the time to get into the series. I tend to lean towards more action oriented RPGs rather than turn based (especially these days), which is part of the reason I think I've steered clear of FF for all these years, though I have enjoyed Octopath so maybe I should give the turn based stuff another chance.
I'll probably pick up FF7 (the definitive FF game, played it but never finished), FF9 (never played), and maybe Crystal Chronicles (simply for that heavy early 2000's nostalgia..)
