I loved the direct overall, the announcements of Animal Crossing, Luigis Mansion and Civ have me excited, but the online service brought it down a considerable amount for me. Cute little animations can only do so much to gloss over the fact that you have a barebones, borderline anti-consumer service at your hands, Nintendo. The only saving grace is that it's cheap.
